CEU invites all alumni currently in Budapest to a fascinating workshop this Monday on the prospects and challenges of political reform in Jordan. The discussion will be led by Musa Shteiwi, director of the University of Jordan’s Center for Strategic Studies. Mr. Shteiwi has taught at the University of Jordan for more than 20 years and has served in advisory and consultancy capacities with the UN, the World Bank, governments, international organizations and research institutions. Emel Akcali, assistant professor with CEU’s Department of International Relations and European Studies will serve as the event’s discussant, and opening remarks will be made by CEU President and Rector John Shattuck. The workshop will be held from 4 – 5:30 p.m., in the Gellner Room at Nador u. 9.

All CEU alumni and students are welcome to attend, although those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by Sunday, Sept. 23, at musashteiwiworkshop@ceu.hu.
